Delivery Information

ICExpress delivers parcels, documents and freight across South Africa and to international destinations. This page explains how our delivery service works, the timeframes you can expect, and how to track your shipment from collection to doorstep.

Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times depend on the service you select and the destination. The estimates below are typical for business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) once a parcel has been collected and processed.

Same-city / metro deliveries: same day to next business day.
Major centres (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha): 1–2 business days.
Regional and outlying areas: 2–4 business days.
International couriers: 3–7 business days, subject to customs clearance in the destination country.

Collection and Cut-off Times

Shipments booked and ready before our daily cut-off are collected the same business day. Bookings placed after cut-off, over weekends or on public holidays are processed on the next business day. Your collection confirmation shows the expected pickup window for your address.

Tracking Your Shipment

Every shipment is issued a unique waybill / tracking number at collection. Use this number to follow your parcel through each stage — collected, in transit, out for delivery and delivered. Tracking updates are available online and our support team can confirm status on request.

Proof of Delivery

Deliveries are confirmed with a proof-of-delivery record. For most services this includes the recipient name and delivery date and time. If no one is available to receive a parcel, our driver will attempt redelivery or leave a notification with instructions to arrange a convenient time.

Delivery Addresses and Access

Please ensure the delivery address is complete and accurate, including a contact number for the recipient. Incorrect or incomplete addresses, restricted-access premises and unattended addresses can delay delivery. Re-routing a shipment after collection may incur an additional charge.
